The messages we receive from our body can be perceived in different ways, depending on our state of awareness. Currently, the ‘default” setting for many individuals is resigning themselves to living with their pain, stress, fatigue, inflammation, or functional symptoms. This accumulated pain is a negative energy field that occupies your body and mind. If you look on it as an invisible entity in its own right, you are getting quite close to the truth. It’s the emotional pain body. It has two modes of being: dormant and active. The pain body wants to survive, just like every other entity in existence, and it can only survive if it gets you to unconsciously identify with it. It can then rise up, take you over, “become you,” and live through you…So the pain body, when it has taken you over, will create a situation in your life that reflects back its own energy frequency for it to feed on. Pain can only feed on pain. Pain cannot feed on joy. It finds it quite indigestible.
“Once the pain body has taken you over, you want more pain. You become a victim or a perpetrator. You want to inflict pain, or you want to suffer pain, or both. There isn’t really much difference between the two. You are not conscious of this, of course, and will vehemently claim that you do not want pain. But look closely and you will that your thinking and behavior are designed to keep the pain going, for yourself and others.” – www.detoxifynow.com
Our health messages, sensory expressions of stress and pain markers, can communicate to us with a range of intensity. Dull aches, intermittent pains, shooting, throbbing, burning, or spasms can incur minimizing mobility and lifestyle limitations; Symptoms that spread, flare up, or break out with ever-decreasing pain thresholds, can involve serious interruptions or impairments of our ability to live and move.
For most of us, pain triggers also trigger our identification with the pain; our brain becomes more consumed in resolving our pain, and if we can’t control the pain, we also have lower self-esteem during the health crisis. When I work with people in my office, one of the first things I do determine how ready they are to let go of their Pain. You have no idea how many people have shown up for a treatment, asking for pain relief in their body, yet unaware that their thoughts and body emotions are not working together. Take an example…A person’s shoulder has been hurting. They have seen many practitioners, but the shoulder pain is still there.
The answer won’t be found by finding another physical treatment. If the physical treatments have not worked, then the person who can’t heal their shoulder is dislocated from their shoulder. I didn’t say their shoulder was dislocated. Instead, their reactions to their throbbing shoulder joint are disconnected from their pent-up emotions about the pain. Another example is low back pain. It is easier for some people to choose meds or surgery to fix their back; However, low back pain can often be a message reminding the person to change their lifestyle. The Empathy Pain Relief Program blends treatment with empowerment tools to help you hear your pain messages.
